The manual control that saves time
Calefactio’s new AC24NC actuator was designed to make installers’ work easier right from the initial setup. With our new actuator, you can test your zones without even connecting it to power ⚡ — no more waiting several minutes per zone. With the new AC24NC model, you can open the zones manually, without power, simply by turning the blue head.
The red indicator provides an instant visual reference:
- Red visible: valve open (normally open mode)
- Red hidden: valve closed (Auto mode, normally closed)
With the AC24NC, testing becomes faster, clearer, and much more efficient — a considerable time-saver on the job site.
Quick, tool-free installation
Installing the Calefactio actuator takes only a few seconds on Caltherm Pro or Caltherm Mega manifolds, which are made of high-quality stainless steel. Just remove the blue protective cap from the manifold, manually open the actuator head, then screw it directly onto the manifold clockwise without applying excessive force. Once the actuator is properly positioned, close the head manually to switch it to Auto mode.
Electrical wiring is straightforward, as long as the controller’s amperage is compatible with the load of the device. Its tool-free Snap-On system, low power consumption (3 W), and compact design make it both quick to install and highly durable — perfectly suited for Calefactio stainless steel manifolds.
Easily control every zone
When a single stainless steel manifold supplies more than one zone, actuators become essential for managing fluid distribution in the loops according to the thermostats’ demands. This makes it possible to control the temperature of each zone independently, ensuring optimal comfort and enhanced performance for radiant floor heating systems.
Precise and safe operation
Once installed on the manifold, the actuator keeps the shutter closed as long as it is not powered. As soon as it receives a command from the thermostat, the thermostatic element pushes the shutter and opens the fluid passage. When power is cut, it automatically closes again, ensuring safety and reliability every time.
